Evangeline Sanders is a writer from Charleston, South Carolina. She received her M.F.A. from the University of Alabama, where she taught English classes and served as an Assistant Poetry Editor for the Black Warrior Review. Her chapbook, Flight of the Quetzal, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2023, and her full-length collection, Many Waters, is forthcoming with Kelsay Books. Her poetry has appeared in various literary journals, including Delta Poetry Review, Sky Island Journal, and The Sandy River Review. Currently, she lives in Columbia, South Carolina.

When she isn’t writing, Evangeline loves singing, playing the mandolin, hiking, running, and drinking tea.
