Evangeline Sanders is a writer from Charleston, South Carolina. She received her M.F.A. from the University of Alabama, where she taught English classes and served as an Assistant Poetry Editor for the Black Warrior Review. She is the author of Many Waters (Kelsay Books, 2026) and Flight of the Quetzal (Finishing Line Press, 2023). Her poetry has appeared in various literary journals, including Third Wednesday, Delta Poetry Review, and Sky Island Journal. Currently, she lives in Columbia, South Carolina.
When she isn’t writing, Evangeline loves singing, playing the mandolin, hiking, running, and drinking tea.
